Such a great staff and they do a terrific job at what they do.
I have been coming to the midwives at SWHC for several years and recently gave birth to my first child. My husband and I attended the Centering classes and absolutely loved the experience. We felt like we gained a wealth of background knowledge going into labor and delivery and the first days at home with a new born. Having a midwife at my delivery was also an awesome experience. Unless you are a well-informed advocate for your own care, DO NOT consider going here. No one is on the same page. Scheduling, nurses, and midwives all seem to work independently of each other with no communication. No one knew any of my preferences or chart information from visit to visit, very impersonal. I feel like just another number. If I were not just a few weeks from having my baby, I would be switching my care else where. Went in for my first doctors visit in 7 years asked what I could do without medication for the intense pain I experience on my periods was told by the doctor that they could cut my uterus out . Thanks doc. It’s a shame, this practice came highly recommended .
Dr. Deaton and Dr. Nelson are amazing! I am so thankful for the level of compassion they showed my husband and I during our recent pregnancy and delivery. The nursing staff are exceptional especially Holly D! We felt at ease knowing we had the best care team!!
