I will never buy a single thing from this company. I asked them to move their truck, because they were blocking the ENTIRE one way parking lot. A fat, hairy employee with a beard told me to "GET THE F*** out of here!" I said seriously? He said "YAH, GET THE F*** OUT OF HERE!" I would never by anything from someone so rude.
This is the second spring in a row that I have decided to replace one of my "good enough" bikes in favor of my "perfect" bike. Both times I have purchased from SBC and both times I have not been able to say enough good things about them. I was biking downtown today with my 21 month daughter asleep in tow, when my crank arm fell off mid pedal stroke. Thanks to Thomas for getting everything back in working order and getting us home safely without even waking her up!
Arrived after 7 hour road trip from upstate New York, walked into the bike shop and instantly was welcomed by Scott. Ola needed a helmet and he hooked this up with a great fitting helmet at a great price. Then he patiently showed us our map for an epic rirde to Reddish Knob- it ws a classic. He also gave us a suggestion of a local park that we could go spin our legs from the long car ride. And of course he suggested to go to Pale Fire brewery for some hydration. Great bike shop. Very very helpful and a great bunch of people. They will help you with all of your bicycle needs without over doing it! Very laid back bike shop!!!!!
My husband and I stopped by the shop this week in need of tubes and CO2 cartridges. We left with some awesome info about local trails (including a few hand drawn routes on a map) and we had a great week checking out some of these rides. We will definitely be back on our next mountain biking trip to VA. Thanks for your hospitality and knowledgeable staff!!
