The service here is fantastic! I came in for some routine maintenance, and an honest mistake caused the situation to worsen while it was being repaired. However, the owner personally took the time to look at my bike, and repair not only the issue, but upgrade other parts of my bike free of charge as an apology. The owner is clearly very knowledgeable and took the time to explain many things to me in a way I would understand! He values his customers, no matter how big or small, and strives to provide great service and product... read more
The CrossRip 3 is everything I've hoped for and more. With anyone considering wanting to maybe explore more then a road bike. The CrossRip 3 would the bike to consider. For myself I wanted a more dependable bike for commuting that a road didn't offer. I had no regrets paying for the upgrade. The upgrade not only are the breaks fully hydraulic but the lower gear to me was worth the cost. Shanenandoah Bicycle Company answered every question I had not only for the CrossRip 3 but for riding in general. One factor I appreciated m... read more
My favorite bike shop in the valley. Great people and great service!
I’ve been to many, many bikes shops and I can confidently say Shenandoah Bicycle Company is one of the best. There are typically three required elements to a good bike shop: 1. Knowledge and Passion for the product 2. Mechanical talent to upkeep the product 3. Good Customer Service. Some shops have none, most only have one maybe two - this bike shop has all three in spades. I recently moved to the area to take a job at a local University. I hardly knew anyone and finding a good shop was important to me as I frequent them due... read more
Best bike shop (or possibly any shop) that I've ever dealt with. I'll share one of my many experiences. I couldn't figure out something with the crank on my bike so I dropped it off for them to fix. Thomas spent the whole day taking it apart and trying to diagnose it. He too could not figure it out for the life of him. Instead of charging me hours upon hours of labor and his time he told me to take it and he was sorry. This really spoke to me as a college student with not much money at the time. I would recommend any person ... read more
Good guys. I get tons of help and advice here. Thanks!
Best bike shop? Well, duh. Best business on the planet? Quite possibly. Tim, Thomas and Sam went so far above and beyond being helpful... they saved my Tour, my (first) vacation (in far too long) and my butt. Pro mechanics, pro service, pro support without pro-pretentiousness. I'm considering moving my family from Asheville to Harrisonburg just to become a regular customer.
