Lived here for about 6 months. Application process was smooth. Leasing company is quick to respond and they seem to care. Lawn and trash are taken care of dutifully. Apartments have older appliances but they seem to work just fine. Spacious rooms. Dog friendly. Community seems safe. Don’t hear my neighbors at all.

I've been staying here for 7months now, and I still love our apartment! The people in the leasing office are always pleasant and happy to help with any problems. The grass is well kept, and the neighborhood is clean despite the trash outside the dumpster.
What I disliked about Shenandoah apartments: (1) My apartment had an infestation of black mold. No matter how often I cleaned the tub, sink and commode in a couple of weeks the black mold would be back. (2) Tenants are allowed to keep pets. My upstairs neighbors kept several dogs in their unit. The dogs barked any time day or night when their owners were away. (3) Almost all the tenants owned dogs. Walk out of your unit and smell the over powering sent of dog urine.
