Very relaxing sitting outside with great service. The specials are priced well and cooked to profection! If you haven't been, you should !
The fried oysters I had at Shempy's were the plumpest, freshest and most delicious I've ever had. It's not that the rest of the meal wasn't good, too, but the oysters were just out of this world.
Came came to Rockport to check on some friends. We had seen a piece on Shrempy's on The Texas Bucket List and thought we'd try it out! OMGoodness... We started with lobster bisque and corn and crab chowder, both DELICIOUS! I had the best fried oysters I've probably EVER had. My hubby had the grilled flounder and grilled veggies, both FANTASTIC! Top it off with bread pudding...YUM!
Best hush puppies I've ever had! Great fried oysters... Crab cakes, yum!
My husband and I came in yesterday evening and we had the Lobster Bisque, fried shrimp and a crabby patty. We enjoyed the soup and the shrimp were perfect ! The crabby patty was delicious ! �

Was very good.... we each had a full meal and should have shared one. Picked up adult beverages next door before going in for late lunch. Friendly service and great food!
This place is always packed so if you’re in a hurry, you better go to a fast food restaurant. The food is delicious and the service is good. You’re not going to get service like Pappadeaux gives but you will get served and the food is great. The tater tots are my favorite side but they have plenty of selection. Give it a try and remember, if you’re the impatient type, you’re going to aggravate yourself. They don’t take long to serve. I tried the double meat shroom burger and it was a monster. I finished every bit of it.
