Went this evening, first time here after hearing great things about this place. Just moved here to Rockport 3 weeks ago.The food was delicious. We were all very pleased with our dinners. Unfortunately the service left much to be desired. For that reason, we won't go back.
������� Crab cakes....... these are hands down the best crab cakes I have had ....since I left MD. We will be back

I absolutely love this place! I have always loved Shempys and it was an awesome treat to take my new fiancee here for the first time. The staff are so nice and accommodating. Taking my fiance here for the first time I wanted him to try everything but the food portions are HUGE! I asked if it was possible to purchase just 1 fried oyster while we waited for our food since he had never had one. They were quick to act and brought us 2 oysters to try and they are the best fried oysters in town. We enjoyed coming here and can't wa... read more

Not a local so this was a recommendation... not what I expected. Friendly staff...I was a bit put off by pricing until I saw the quantity and tasted the food. Excellent! Not only did we get to meet the owner, he brought us our meal. Great atmosphere too!
