I have eaten here many many times and loved it so much that I have always brought out of towners. BUT this time, I was so disappointed!! The fried oysters were tasteless the fries had grease dripping off them and the oyster stew was curdled!! YUCK!!
Seafood was fresh and well seasoned..shecrab and brocolli soup was outstanding..spinach..mushroom..egg and hot bacon dressing was excellent..BUT THE KEY LIME PIE WAS THE BEST HUBBY AND I HAVE EATEN!! MELTED IN OUR MOUTHS!!
The best! Will drive 5 hrs to get there. Love the steam pot and soft shell crab. The bar is great! Could keep going on, but all is good!
Great service and food!! Had the Shem pot, so much food but very fresh seafood , I will definitely go there again!!
This is a lovely spot, with delicious food and an efficient staff. I have had something delectible every time I have been here. Sadly, I only get to the area once or twice a year. Wish it was more often.
The fried oysters were perfect. They were lightly battered and fried to perfection. I will go back when I'm in Charleston.
Food was awesome. Cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. Service was great too.
Shem pot unbelievably good!!! Waitress said feeds 2 people. But the pot is actually a turkey roaster!!! So much delicious seafood.
Have always been a fan even when we lived there in 1989-92. Still go back and visit.
