I have been trying to have my PFML claim processed since 11/21. I have called 4 times. They only have you email forms and then it sits in an email untouched. They don't let you know if something is missing. They are very rude on the phone. I have been out of work for a month and not even close to getting my PFML check. I need this resolved ASAP.

If I could give no stars I would. Horrible customer service. I was told because of when Thanksgiving fell I didnt get a check, for over 3 weeks I didnt get paid. Since the office wasnt open on Friday that means my direct deposit wasnt put through? So Monday comes, no check.. finally paid on Tuesday. Zero notice of this happening beforehand. I called numerous times and was spoken to with an attitude. My baby has health issues and the last thing I should be worrying about is my PFL checks. I have been lied to about when and how I will be paid. My payment date was pushed back due to a holiday and never set back to the original date, even weeks after. This has to be the WORST experience Ive had on PFL ever.

Reached out to shelterpoint to file PFL claim.on 10/18, sent everything in with all the documents.Reached out twice in the following week.asking for update.Today is 10/30, not a single response received from them.We will probably switch company after this. This is just unprofessional.

My husband just got approved for short-term disability due to a health event from his employer and that was on August 1, 2023. It is now September 6 and he still has not received his DLP payment!! He was told a check was mailed on August 11, 2023, for 4 weeks payment and he never received the Check. After that, I found out that not all the paperwork was completed so in 1 day I had to fill out a notarized Affidavit that we never received the check, submit a final Medical form, and an ACH Direct Deposit form. My husband submitted a claim for *** on july 18th and we still have no been paid or denied. They claim we needed to confirm his leave dates even though they were clearly on the *** claim paperwork. The claim has been on hold. Their customer service is absolutely horrendous and they have zero knowledge of laws or guidance from ***. When I told the customer service rep that claim needed to be denied or paid within 18 days (according to ***), he told me dont worry about it.

Was attacked and stabbed by a radon guy, forced out of work for the past 4 weeks and counting now, STILL HAVENT BEEN PAID A DOLLAR!!! they shouldve relayed to me three weeks ago that they needed the police report but nobody reached out to me and now Im sitting here about to lose my house because I cant pay my bills and I am starving because I cant even go get food because I have not been paid in three weeks because I got stabbed by some random guy and you guys never reached out to even care enough to tell me what you needed.... read more

My husbands PFL is through ShelterPoint Insurance and working with them has been the worst experience. First the online portal keeps stating the claim is on hold because more information is needed but when you reach out they tell you not to worry everything is fine. Then why does your portal state otherwise?!? The 1st check came fine but then when the 2nd church was fo be issued no info showed in the portal, we contact customer service to be told that checks are sent out ON AVERAGE of every 2 weeks. This company does not reply to emails and only care to get you off the phone, they are not helpful at all. I need a date of when the review for the last check will be done. I was told that review of the claim, this would be check 4, happens every 2 weeks. We are 2.5 weeks since that last one. I have no food for my child and my auto insurance is about to be canceled and I have no gas to get to work next week. I had to cut my maternity leave short because of their inability to do anything in a timely manner.
