A terrible company to trust with your property in my opinion! I see why now coming here and reading others reviews. Abusing their powers absolutely. I've paid 10 years, have an excellent over 800 credit score and owe nothing to this world other than my house. I am an excellent paying customer and never missed a premium payment. Mr. *** has auto policies with Shelter Insurance Agent Doug *****. Note that Mr. *** indicated no claims; however, there are four claims (4/10/19, 10/31/19, 4/22/20 & 6/17/20) under that family number. Shelter insurance make claims impossible. Pay your premium, but they won't pay.

My son hit a deer & jerked his car & ran off the road after hitting the deer ,so because the damage was pretty extensive, they claim it falls under collisions, instead of comprehensive ,he only had comprehensive, which should have covered it, because the deer caused the accident. They don't truly take care of their customers, it's all about denying claims, so they don't have to pay
Worst agent I've ever dealt with - cancelled a vehicle that we did not ask to have cancelled then wanted to blame us. Told us we would have insurance back that day and learned a week and one day later, from our new agent, that we do not have coverage on this vehicle. Never use these people!!!

As Ms. ******* mentioned, the Auto policy was cancelled in error. Since this had occurred, Ms. ******* has changed to the ****** ****** and the policy was reinstated. Mr. ******'s District Sales Manager has addressed this issue. I apologize for whatever inconveniences this may have caused.
