Not the best bedside manner.... I have seen him multiple times and he never seems caring or concerned with your condition. I feel like he just gives me Medicine (without fully understanding my problem) and pushes me out the door. Three procedures with him, I'm still having the same issues years later. Not s fan.

I first saw Dr. Shekleton after 3 visits to Frankfort Regional ER for chest pain. The pain was in my sternum area but very sharp. The ER ruled out a heart attack each time and they said I should see a GI doctor and gave me Dr. Shekleton's name. I had an appointment with him and we scheduled a colonoscopy and endoscopy. The endoscopy revealed a peptic ulcer. He prescribed two medications which eliminated the ulcer determined by another endoscopy 4 months later. I highly recommend Dr. Shekleton!
Dr. Shekleton is very thorough in his treatment to patients. He reviewed my medications and stop me taking a medication that was responsible for erosion of my stomach. Even Cleveland Clinic doctor missed in advising me to stop this medication.
Great doctor and staff. Very responsive to needs and my health.
I did not see him until about one minute before I was sedated for the procedures. This in spite of going to his office about 3 weeks earlier. After the procedures, he met briefly with my wife and me. Though we were able to ask questions, he did not seem very open to them. I don't think he mentioned the colonoscopy results. I felt like I was railroaded through.
