He was not personable. It was as if I was an obligation. Disappeared for 3 weeks in beginning of treatment and tests. could not get test results. Told I should have my husband teach me to log on to hospital to get results. I am computer savvy! Laughed about another patients fall in his office. No suggestion of follow up appt.. would not recommend this doctor. I have a history of employment in healthcare. Totally unacceptable in being interested in resolution.

I’ve yet to go through with my appointment with this doctor. What holds me back, is the fact that I’ve never had a face to face meeting. I find this very odd that the PA scheduled me for a colonoscopy, and yet never uttered a word to the doctor who would be doing the procedure. I have/had questions I should have been able to ask this doctor and yet they go unanswered. How do you determine a colonoscopy is what’s needed when the said doctor wasn’t there for my appointment?

Dr. Shekleton performed an unplanned surgery for me in June. He and his staff have been amazing to work with. Very kind, explained things well, and compassionate. When calling into the office calls were returned promptly. Great doctor and staff.
Dr. Shekleton was very cordial and straightforward when I had my consult to set up an endoscopy. He explained what to expect both during and after procedure. I was very pleased with my appointment.
Dr Shekleton listens to my concerns and answers my questions. I’ve been very pleased with the care I’ve received from him and the Frankfort hospital.
Dr. Shekleton was efficient but very attentive. Wait time was not long at all. Office staff is courteous and very helpful. I would recommend this care provider.
on my visit with dr john and his staff we made an appointment for some test to be run. to me I think they are a first class operation.
