Technically, she was fine. But she recommended procedures EVERY SINGLE TIME I saw her. I finally heard she'd been brought up to the State Board, and left. My new dentist hasn't done anything to my teeth in 9 years. Maybe she fixed everything, or maybe she was upselling me every time, fraudulently.
I went in and the office was well over 80 degrees. The air conditioning was broken. The poor assistants looked like they were melting. When I tried to make idle conversation with the assistants, Dr. Barton simply looked at them and asked if they had something else to be doing. I came back a week later to receive followup treatment, but the office just seems a bit outdated.
Went to Dr. Barton with my four-year-old. She was very gentle with him, and did a very thorough exam on both of us. Seemed knowledgable. Some dental work yet to do, so I don't know how she handles more stressful visits.
I hadn't been to a dentist in a couple of years and selected Dr. Barton based off an ad in the Yellow Pages. This Dr. had me coming back for multiple visits which maxed out my insurance. Also, this Dr. had me in the dentist chair for 3 hours for root planing and filling replacement. She also suggested a root canal while I was under the gas for a tooth that only needed to have a filling replaced. I'm never going back
