Shear Nightmare!! – Do not let Brianna cut your hair! Shocked that she is an Aveda instructor since this has got to be the worst haircut I've ever gotten. It looks like someone literally hacked the back of my hair off and it really uneven. Not to mention that it took her 4 hours to color and hack my hair off. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!
Daryl DuCharme -- simply the best – Daryl is probably the best colorist in the city, period. He gives you great, natural-looking results using great, natural (Aveda) products. I tried a lot of SF stylists -- some very expensive -- in search of someone who would really LISTEN to what I wanted, would have the SKILL to pull it off, and would CARE enough to do his best to make me look good. Beautiful cut, great location, good price, pleasant service – Daryl du Charme is my hairdresser at ShearBliss. He recently joined ShearBliss. He chose this salon as carefully as I chose him. I know I am happy with his beautiful work and where he landed. It is a place where I can find a 45-minute sanctuary of pleasant conversation or quiet. They offer tea or water. Don't waste the pretty!!!! – Ok so maybe most guys or "gurls" don't go through the kind of trouble I do with my hair, but with the uprising of metrosexuals, and endless amount of "gurls" in SF, I know you ladies will appreciate this! I LOVE MY HAIR!!!! – I recently moved here and did not know where to go! Several girlfriends and coincidentally several co workers recommended Stephens. I was very hesitant because I'm very picky and have difficult hair. Stephens really took the time to talk to me about styling my hair and what kind of cut would work best for me. Stephens knows how to cut curly hair! – After being frustrated with salons in this city, I decided to try out Shear Bliss. Stephens did a great job with my curls! I'm not great at verbalizing what I want in a haircut, but I did make it clear that I didn't want much off of my length, and Stephens knew what to do, and he did it well. Thankfully I won't have to wait to go back to the east coast the next time I need a haircut; Stephens is my new hair man!!
See Stephens! – Stephens knows more about the Aveda product line than anyone I have ever met. He is excellent at both mens and womens haircuts, and can do very trendy and very conservative styles. He will take the time to listen to you and find out what you need and want. I HIGHLY recommend Shear Bliss in general. Everyone there is friendly, nice, and down to earth. Great with all types of hair – Stephens is awesome! He does an excellent job with my thick curly hair and my sister, who has pin straight hair, loved her cut, too. I've also had lowlights and full color with him and he's terrific.
