As an ode to his Israeli roots, Chef Alon Shaya created Shaya as an innovative restaurant with elements borrowed from his Middle-Eastern ancestry. Something different than what we normally eat. Saw Shaya on the the The Chef Show. Knew we were heading to New Orleans soon and definitely glad we went to this place. Did the 5 samples of hummus and it was phenomenal

Amazing! Absolutely liked the food! The service and the atmosphere! If you are looking to get that “wow” taste of the food, this is the place to visit !
We do not live locally and have made a point to visit again this time after such a great experience last year. We are fans of Who’s Feeding Phil and fell in love with the episode and restaurant so we had to come when we were here this year.
