Bryan Ayres, thank you so much for your review, we are thrilled that you chose to come in and that you keep coming back. There is a shortage in the chicken industry resulting in higher prices and smaller wings. Shawn is unhappy with the changes and is working to find a solution.
Shawns is the best BQ I've had. We get the sampler platter, that way you get a variety of all the meats. The brisket is my favorite and we can't forget about the amazing cornbread and cole slaw. We always stop in when we are in Culpepper. The wait staff is very nice and the atmosphere is great!
It was awesome. I'd go as far as to say best all around barbecue restaurant I've ate at. Everything i had was very good.
Drop Dead TASTY food. This is a definite place to get it. The ribs were melt in your mouth and the burnt ends were a bit of heaven! I would highly recommend this place to any BBQ lover!

I've eaten at Shawn's many times and the staff are very personable and always attentive. I don't normally care much for barbecue other than pulled pork or chicken cooked with the sauce but this barbecue is amazing!
We ordered our food. 28 minutes went by. Still no food. I asked the waitress she said she would check on it went up to the counter they had put it as a carry out order and not dining in order. Very bad service. The employees were more worried about socializing then helping the customers. I got a refund and left.
