I had surgery on my ankle and ANOTHER doctor injured it my nerves. I went to Dr. Bartel on the recommendation of a friend whose mom had surgery years ago. I am so glad I did! Dr. Bartel cleaned up a lot of scar tissue and repaired a few spots in my ankle and lower leg. He took the time to explain what was going on and how he would repair the damage. Very thorough, quickly identified the issue and recommended appropriate treatment
Dr Bartel was very informative. Recommend surgery. Unfortunately, he did a bad job & now my second toe is lifts higher than others & leans far away from my big toe & into others. When I asked him about it & the new pain I have He said it must be arthritis. No ther doctor will touch it. I am stuck with it for life.
Dr Bartel took the time to explain options and results. He also went through the X-rays, what was wrong with my ankle and causes.
The fact that they got me in right away and out, they show that they really care
