The Reserve was beautiful, the day bright and blue, the air fresh and cool. I went on the AARP trek, which was so much fun. Our tour guide, from the Reserve, was knowledgeable and kind and had a good sense of humor. The prairie gave us such a perfect hike!!

Five Stars. Phenom guided hike with Andy this morning. This gem called Shaw Nature Reserve is taken for granted. However, this slice of heaven awaits your entrance anytime. Andy is super with children and adults as well. He is so knowledgeable. These guided hikes have encouraged me to explore more of the vast, well mapped trails of raw beauty at Shaw. Just get in the car and go! So worth it.
Gorgeous. I visited as part of the Shaw Bloom Trail 10k/20k March 25. I will be back to hike and take in more of what the nature reserve has to offer soon.
The Goddard Trail is beautiful this time of year. This is what a Missouri Forest should look like. GORGEOUS.

Very nice place to hike. Went with people of all hiking ability. . got in 5 + miles before we even knew it!! and every one had a great time!!
Wonderful place to walk, meditate and connect with nature! Plenty of trails and land features to keep each walk interesting.
