Dr. Basener is the best. She is very thorough and explains everything so I understand.
I never feel rushed, she answers my questions and makes sure I understand. She gives me time to respond. Always asks if I have questions and if I agree with her treatment plan. I feel totally confident with Dr. Basener’s care.
I saw Dr. Basener in 2023 for some labs etc. surrounding an issue that turned out not to be serious, thankfully. Dr. Basener was nice enough. However, when I told her I was interested in and use holistic options in my life she asked me if I was blood letting. Really? I say holistic and that is the first thing that comes to your mind? That was an opportunity to get to know your patient and it showed a lack of care, knowledge or interest when you jump to such an extreme. I would not see her again.
I’m so thankful to have Dr. Basener as my physician. I never feel rushed when I’m with her and she’s always validating what I’m feeling. She had a way of making me feel like me being healthy and happy benefits her personally.
