Dr. Porat did 4 surgeries on both of my shoulders. The first one was a rotator cuff surgery on my left shoulder, the second one was another rotator cuff surgery on my right shoulder; both of them in 2014. Dr. Sharoun Porat was a big influence in my life. 6 years ago, I had a surgery for the right hip replacement. Dr. Porat was the surgeon and performed a great work. And I got the feeling, that he is not only a good person but also an expert in his field. And when half a year ago, I started to have the same problem in the left hip, I knew the right doctor to go to. Porat performed my rotator cuff surgery about a decade ago. He did a great job and my shoulder has been great since! I definitely recommend him to anyone who would need orthopedic surgery.
Sharoun Porat seems more interested in getting payed, and getting you out of his office than getting you right and leaving you with a clear understanding of what is wrong. He initially said my knee felt fine but to get an MRI to make sure. I was unable to get my MRI reports back when they said they would contact me with them, and when I called, they told me I needed to schedule an appointment to receive them.
