On Dec. 1, 2017 I went to NMH ER and diagnosed with a upper respiratory infection. Seen by a Rn who took vital signs, seen by a doctor who in turn gave me a prescription for antibiotics. I received a bill in the amount of $2201.68. Since I am a Florida residence my insurance did not cover out of state. I immediately called the hospital, but to no avail there was knowone whit any authority to review this bill. Called John Murphys office and asked for this bill to be reviewed. Never heard back. RecommendedI had a second hip replacement surgery done on June 26, 2018 at New Milford Hospital. What a terrific hospital! As soon as a walked/ wheelchaired in, the friendly greeting I got. And the decor of the lobby. Beautiful. The care I had from my doctors, Dr Mullen, and Dr. Sanuders. The great nurses, and all the PT's, OT's, what a great bunch of caring people. Thank you all for taking good care of me! And thank you for my new hip!
