The nurses are great! The doctors however are terrible- especially one female doctor. She sent me home after I told her I was having another pulmonary embolism even with my history of having one already. She didn’t offer me a ct scan and told me one was unnecessary. She sent me home with muscle relaxers and even other staff member didn’t understand why she did that. I later went to Danbury hospital where I was diagnosed with an embolism and I was treated. RecommendedI brought a family member who is a medical oncologist, into the ER at New Milford as a patient this week. I cannot praise highly enough the professionalism, compassion, medical excellence, and cleanliness that we experienced, both in the ER and once he was admitted. Once it was determined that a transport to a larger facility was necessary, the staff handled that move seamlessly. Our experience was 100% positive.

RecommendedThe employees are great. They are caring, empathetic and kind. However, I think the certain policies of how the administration treats their employees is quite another story. To the the administration: Treat your employees better for better results. Treat them so-so, and your employees will go elsewhere creating an overworked unhappy staff.

I am finding it difficult to express that amount of disappointment in your er. A family member that we love very much who suffers with drug addiction came in for making threats of suicide and clearly under the influence of drugs. And you discharged them. They came in again today and asked for help and was given a patch and a list of rehab facilities.
