Some people prefer modern restaurants with wall mounted tanks filled with exotic fish. They expect Art Deco lighting and chairs made more for the sake of art, than comfort. Well, we’re old fashioned. Thick wood beams, with over two hundred years of wear, stretch from ceiling to the floor. Our sturdy tables and chairs remain for their comfort, to craddle you while enjoying a delicious meal. A no frills atmosphere will keep you content, and coming back from more. With age comes experience.

There was an abundance of food in the captain’s fried food platter and the clam chowder was delicious. We picked the order up and it was ready very quickly and brought curbside. The maple ginger salmon was rather disappointing (the size was unacceptable as an entrée ) though it tasted good. The mussels were outstanding as was the oysters Rockefeller!
