Thick wood beams, with over two hundred years of wear, stretch from ceiling to the floor. Our sturdy tables and chairs remain for their comfort, to craddle you while enjoying a delicious meal. A no frills atmosphere will keep you content, and coming back from more. With age comes experience.

I love The Shanty! My girlfriend and I always get the escargot and lobster bisque in a bread bowl! If you like seafood, you'll love The Shanty!

I had a fantastic lunch at the Shanty today with my kids ... the server was a joy and the food was excellent especially the clam chowder .... thank you :}}
A regular stop for us when in Burlington when craving seafood. Lobster Bisque in a bread bowl is a must-have.
