This is not an office that works well with PTSD patients. Their new policy for medications, as simple as Lunesta, is for patients to visit to office every 30 days. This practice use to fill 90 day prescriptions. For the past 10 years this practice has written 90 day scripts. They now have 30 day rule requiring patients to visit every 30 days for a script. Shannon is kind, sympathetic, and really listens to what you're saying. She is informative and well-versed in general medicine. I'm seeing her regularly for a chronic issue that we're trying to diagnose, and I can tell she is committed to helping me find out a way to manage it. Unlike some other doctors I've visited, she has never made me feel 'crazy' or dismissed me for having odd symptoms. I live a 30-minute drive away and gladly make the trip to see her.
She is an excellent NP. She is thorough, kind, and listens to the patient.
