Good communicator, easy bedside manner. Trustworthy.
I had a rough patch with a previous gastroenterologist - my condition was not deemed serious. I changed to Dr. Marek who saw me immediately and followed-up with the neccesary care. I still had to spend 5 days in the hospital, but it was Dr. Marek who saved my life.

I am not a stranger to the need of having urgent care by a Gastro specialist. I have suffered many years with a disease called gastro paresis along with a few other digestive issues. Dr. Marek was recommended to me and has become a dependable part of my health care. His office always maintains communication .
He really cares for his patients and he listens! He doesn’t give up until he finds the solution! Great doctor!

He respectively responded to me with the very diagnosis that I felt was my causing me problems. He was very professional and knows, I believe, exactly what he is doing as a surgeon.
