We got there right before the band started; and ran into “Pretty Purdy”, the first Professional I ever performed with, back in 1969... And...he recognized my face after 52 Years...from our “Chitlin Circuit” Days!! lol
A very enjoyable night out with fine food and entertainment. Staff are pleasant and super efficient and the evening unfolds in a relaxing environment. The jazz performance was top notch; easily at par with New York City.
With acts like Karl Latham and food like those dumplings, where else would you want to be?

A hidden gem in the center of Madison. The brick front building leads you into a live jazz club atmosphere. Awesome jazz music. You can eat at the bar and surrounding tables and view the band. For a better experience, get a table in the action. Also a new bar downstairs. Staff are great 👍
We were last here 15 years ago and we stopped in today and thought “you fool, you missed all this for the past decade and a half!” Highly recommend. The dumplings are so good. Really great cosmo by Ashley.
