My son is 12 years old and went to Camp Shane for a few weeks, several months ago. He was nervous about going but the staff there made him feel comfortable and at ease. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. He had a blast with the other kids with all the activities they did and also learned a lot! He came home so much more confident and taught me about nutrition, how to read labels on foods and how to pick nutrituous foods and what is healthy for our family. Great experience!

Amazing experience! Absolutely in love! I was honored to be Camp Shane’s Nutritional Specialist last year, and am so amazed with the positive environment and caring team I got to be part of. In ten years experience I’ve never seen a director, or counselors so dedicated to see positive changes in the youth they work with. I’m excited for next year, and can’t wait to the same results in our next group of children.

Places like this are the EXACT reason I started working with children as a biological researcher and health coach. I was able to teach a few classes with the kids at the University, some cardio boxing, and help the nutritionist on staff with cooking classes. I ended loving the atmosphere so much, I brought both my teenage girls as well. It was the most fulfilling summer. I can’t wait to keep watching the amazing results of camp Shane for years to come!
