The therapist that led most of the time, Kim, was outstanding in managing a group, establishing emotional safety, & helping me feel that I mattered. . My counseling at Shallowford Wellness Center was outstanding! The care I received was thoughtful, informative, and truly life-changing. The three therapists are exceptional. From the first session they created a safe, warm, and non-judgmental space. They really listen with genuine empathy and make you feel heard and understood without rushing or pushing their own agenda. The therapists at Shallowford have a broad range of knowledge about different therapies, styles and types, and are truly invested in their clients. They get to know their clients personally, and provide an environment of warmth and support. They make sure to have times for processing and check-in, but also provide psychoeducation and tools to navigate life’s challenges.

Back in the fall of 25’ I had a mental breakdown and thanks to the patience and kindness the staff at Shallowford showed me, I’ve been rehabilitated! They were able to help me process what I was feeling and helped me realize everything will be ok! I even met some good people getting treatment with me and we are still friends till this day. Whoever is reading this and is thinking about getting treatment, pick Shallowford wellness! They will get you right! God bless you all!
