Have stayed here two times and loved it
We love everything about the Shalimar and have been going there for over 20 years. We hate that we had to cancel this year's trip in March, but need to stay home with our favorite Scottish Terrier. She'll be 15 on March 1. We are booked for next year, though ... and really enjoy seeing the posts of others.

Love Shalimar, stayed there several times. I love the “ no maid service” I like my privacy. I like having access to the beach. The beach is beautiful. We’ve stayed there several times. Was just there last month. (Nov).
Can’t wait to come back! Our cottage was perfect & immaculate! The staff was super friendly & helpful. Loved walking out the door to enjoy the gorgeous beach!
Our second stay at this out of the way, quiet place. Small, cozy and right on the beach. We stay in the cottages. They are 1 bedroom, small kitchen, and small living room, but very comfortable. Book early to get a gulf view.
Love this resort. Would definitely recommend it and will return ourselves. We came for relaxation and we got it. Clean, peaceful, comfortable, and friendly staff.
