Dr. Shakir was very helpful with my case. I had a larger than normal kidney stone and took care of it. No more pain. Woo hoo!??
Dr Shakir is a great doctor. Very clear on the way he explains the possible problems and solutions. He is also very gentle doing the physical exams. The team at the front desk is very nice and professional. Than you!
Dr Shakir is very experienced and knowledgable in his field. Ive had two surgeries and both were a good experience. If I needed another I wouldn't hesitate. Recently I had 2 kidney stones lasered and sucked out so I didn't have to pass them. I was home by 10am at the coffee shop by 1:00pm and worked out at the gym that night. It literally felt like I took a nap and was done.
Dr. Shakir has taken us through a run around, mis-information its been over a month and my mom with cancer still has got no treatment! i spoke with the supervisor Olivia which was very rude i couldn't believe it, i asked for her last name and she said she doesn't have one! Dr.Shakir is on vacation and i asked for the on call doctor which i couldn't speak too!
I took my son to Dr. Shakir as a consultation and the doctor just walked in the room and didnt even introduced him self. Not only that but I had the worse experience. The office manager Olivia is a very rude an unproffessional women. i would never go back to take my son to this office, they care more about the money then patients well being.
Dr. Shakir is very polite and has lots of Knowledge in his Field of work, but his front office staff is horrible. They work at a snails pace, take 30 min to answer calls, and almost never follow up. The whole office needs to be replaced with more Professional people
Dr. Shakir was late for my procedure, argued with pre-op staff at Mercy hospital which we recorded. Never talked to my husband after the procedure nor came to my room to check on me. Also I was told that I had the stint in my kidney taken out which we also recorded...3 weeks later I am in the hospital with an infection and the stint still in, be afraid of this doctor if you know what is best for your health!! He has no bedside manner cause he won't come to your bedside and tell you!
I have to say dr. Shakir was blunt and to the point but is an amazing doctor I had to have no lateral vericole ligation surgury and I feel he is the best he told me everything up front and explained stuff very well... the surgury was right on time and was everything he said it would be... some of the staff is rude but their are bad one everywhere... you will get a fill for the nice ones I give shakir a 5 star rating based on his knowledge and ability or narrow down my issue and resolve it.
I called there office 7 times to make an appointment. every time you call they will put you hold and will come back like after 30 -45 minutes. Will never return call for 3-4 weeks. Just because of there bad customer service and I just went to different doctor.
