I overdosed on multiple bottles of benzos prescribed by Dr. Rahman following roughly two years of treatment at Beckett. At the time of my attempt, I was on an atypical antipsychotic, an NDRI, an SSRI, and a stimulant daily—plus benzos as needed. Dr. Rahman has treated me for years We have always discussed any changes in my treatment or medication. He always remembers my past history and is very intelligent. If I have a problem with a medication he listens to me. He has always worked with my outside providers and I have come a long way working with him. With him gone from Beckett Springs I would not recommend the place at all
DO NOT TRUST
It is standard practice of this Dr. and his operating facility to make zero contact with minor children inpatient under their care. His go-to medication is geodon and when presented to parents it is presented by a nurse only. Nurses do not give dosages, plans for current medication, or any other pertinent information. If you are someone who has been prescribed this medication by this Dr. inappropriately, please reach out to me because I am pursuing legal recourse.
Avoid this doctor like the plague. Likes to overprescribe patients on antipsychotics despite debilitating side effects. Does not have any concern for patients. A family member of mine has been trying to get their prescription refilled by this doctor for days and he is unreachable. Now he has to go without. If you have also had issues with this doctor, please talk to the medical board.
