I went in to Sahi Jewelry in Mission Viejo right next to Mission Ranch Market to get my fiancé a piece of jewelry that’s unique! I stopped by yesterday since I was already in the area to see what they had. I asked about a bracelet I’ve been interested in, and the price I was given was about three times higher than expected. Out of curiosity, I also asked about the bracelet I was wearing. I was told it was 14k, even though it’s actually 18k, and the value I was quoted was maybe less than half of what I originally paid, even though gold prices have gone up since then.
