Came out to Montauk early November stopped into the shagwong for quick bite unfortunately nothing like the old shagwone the service was horrendous and the chef doesn't seem to know the difference between rare medium or well done not even with a hamburger Was met by the manager who asked if we have a problem the whole staff seems to need a class and etiquette they don't seem to be working for tips Bring back the old days and the old Montauk what a shame
Was there on rainy day crowd wa great and chowder amazing! Loved it
Pricey. Had the clams small platter expected larger clams. Calamari was excellent.but no marinara sauce,but shrimp sauce. Fish and chip platter was good but overpriced for cod. Will try again,but not during high tourist season.
