How can I say this? Simply the best. So glad that a doctor of this caliber is in our area and able to see patients efficiently and effectively practicing his craft.
Had two eye surgeries for cataracts. They were flawless. He is both personable and professional. Top grade. I would recommend him to anyone.
Never waited less than an hour and a half. Dr Shaffron is just disrespectful of his patients, NEVER bothering to show up anywhere, even for surgery, on time.
You can instantly tell Dr. Shafron knows what he is doing. The staff gets you started and before you know it, he's with you. I have never been there when he didn't have many patients. Somehow he gets you in and out. If you have a question, he stops and gives you a layman's answer. When I leave, I am confident that I have had a through examination.
I was very impressed with the professionalism of Dr Shafron and his staff. They gave me some rather startling news about my eyes, but offered me the opportunity to resolve the problem with him in a procedure several weeks later. The wait time was not what I wished for, but I am happy to wait for professional results, and I so far believe that is what I am receiving.
They're wonderful., until there's a problem & then they won't talk to you. We have been going to this practice for a couple of years & were very happy. Then I had a problem with my glasses. I could not see, and was told "maybe there's something wrong with my eyes!" The office manager would not speak to me. The doctors were unwilling to address the problem. How do you resolve an issue if you won't talk. Turns out after seeing someone else my glasses were way too strong. Won't be going back!
I've gone to Dr. Shafron since he has been in Denton (many years) . I'm very picky on doctors and I find him to be excellent. Yes, you can expect a little bit of a wait because he's the best around and so many people want to see him. I have recommended him to many over the years. I see some complaints about the staff...Seriously ? I have never had a problem and never had a bad experience, and I have seen all 3 doctors . You are in excellent hands with Dr. Shafron.
Office staff is abrupt/rude, uncompassionate, and incapable of problem solving to help a patient in need of basic services. Shafron also seems incapable of handling challenging medical issues that require him to think outside the box. Every visit that I spoke with him to explain my condition or symptoms, he would be busy typing away on his computer with little to no eye contact or empathy displayed/shown.
Dr. Shafron is excellent. His staff however is NOT. They are very unfriendly and discourteous to patients.
