I had my car repaired in June and must say the repair job was good but I didn't get all my parts. I went and asked about my chrome lugs. I was basically told it was my problem, deal with it!
At 6:30 a.m. on a Saturday I was on my way from the Twin Cities (MN) to Omaha, NE I hit a deer just north of Ames. My car was inoperable. I asked the tow truck driver to take me to a nearby body shop per the request of my insurance company. He said Shaffer's was the place to go. So, we went. EXCELLENT Service!!! Friendly staff! I have had 2 cars repairex here and I would highly recommend them! Their customer service is wonderful as they lend you a loaner car while your auto is being repaired. They take the time to explain everything to you and havr the lowest estimates in Ames. I especially enjoyed working with Chad and Mike. Ask for them when you go there.
