I have taken my two puppers too Shawdowood a number of times, and they have always taken great care of them. My pittie is quite the handful, as he thinks he is a sled dog and will pull your arm off... they still handle him wonderfully, don't pull, yank, or get rough with him and are always patient, and kind. My beagle mix is the ultimate barker, and anyone who can handle her yodeling is top notch. I never worry when I go out of town without them because I know my fur babies are in loving hands.
I was in Rolla while my son was in a TSA competition at Missouri S & T. I’d brought my dog with me, and unexpectedly needed a pet sitter. I googled Doggie Day Cares Rolla. Shadowood was one of the 3 results. I called, explained my situation and Laura there said bring her on over! She took excellent care of my doggie! Laura is so sweet and caring!! Very hospitable. Karin, I'm sorry you feel this way. We recommend (as stated in our contract) people not bring valuable items when their pets stay with us as dogs don't always behave the same away from home and it's not unusual for pets to tear things up while being boarded. Have a nice evening.
They always take great care of my girl, Mika! And she can be quite a handful. She gets very excited every time we turn down their road! The staff is always so friendly and helpful. I'm happy we found them �
