My wife got a crown 2 years ago, warranty for 5 years. It fell off. She returned to Shadow Mountain for warranty replacement. There was a new dentist as usual. He said there was decay under it and the new crown would cost $1300. She left and went to another local dentist for second opinion. He did an exams and stays showing no decay. He gave us copies of the seats to show to Shadow Mountain showing no decay. He suggested that we file a complaint with the dental board. We contacted Shadow Mountain. Marie, the assistant office manager, informed me when I checked in my two sons for their appointments that I did not have to stay while they had their treatment. Unfortunately, I could not stay and had to get back to work. As I was driving on Summerlin Pkwy., I received a call that Dr. Wolf's policy is that a parent/guardian remain in office during the time of treatment. We came from California and my wife and I were looking for a dentist and found Shadow Mountain Dentistry Group. On our first visit, we were in for a checkup and cleaning, and after getting the x-rays both dentists told both me and my wife that we had a lot of work needed to be done. Now we have been getting cleanings and checkup twice a year or every six months for a last 20 years in California with no major problems.
