Staff was rude but care was quick and painless
Dr Micheli is a great dentist. he is caring, competent, and works hard to do the best he can for his patients. I am a professional in the healthcare field, and I was totally satisfied with Dr Micheli's professionalism and office. He is a very dedicated and professional and caring dentist. He has done quite a bit of work for me and I am totally satisfied. I would recommend him and his office highly.,
Due to new insurance, Shadow Hills was the only dentist I could go to in Canon City. The dentist cleaned the plaque from my teeth, rather than a hygienist, which I found odd. He did not do this through the normal method of using various hand picks to scrap the plaque away. Instead, he used some sort of drill bit to get up into your gums, which was somewhat painful and caused a lot of gum bleeding. Not only is the receptionist rude and whiny, but the doctor complained the entire time I was stuck, unable to speak, in the exam chair! One dental assistant never introduced herself but addressed me by name repeatedly. I wasn't happy with the upper front temporary bridge color - it was YELLOW and my teeth are WHITE. When I voiced my dissatisfaction, these people strung me along for a week before Micheli called my house and told me he wasn't the doctor for me! Receptionist is the rudest ever!! They definitely need another one! I got in pretty good with my appt and the prices are not that bad for work. Doctor was nice for the most part, had a attitude sometimes. I would rather go to a different dentist though if i could pick.
