I was very disappointed with the service tonight. Waited over 20 minutes for a cup of chocolate milk for my granddaughter, waited so long for the appetizer to come that it came about 2 minutes before our meal. And had to request basic items multiple times. Not too happy with this place tonight. Told the manager and he didn't even offer to give a discount or anything! Don't think I will be back any time soon

My husband and I had dinner there this evening. I ordered the La Cafe salad (I am addicted to this salad) and we had wings, fries and a couple of beers. The service was excellent and the food terrific!

I realize roasted Brussels sprouts have limited appeal in most people's minds, but having tried them at BJ's in Columbus and at The Barn in New Albany, Shade on 30th in Heath are hands down the best. Shade is now the first place I recommend in Heath and the only place in town that doesn't make me want for a restaurant in Columbus. I've developed an addiction to their Jamaican Jerk wing sauce and they have the best salads in town. So, for those who prefer to stay local, check out Shade on 30th. BEWARE.. my husband and I was in there. They sell scratch offs. I purchased 2 scratch offs when the bartender who sold them to me says "3rd one is always a winner, I am going to buy one". I said " that's not right you are screwing your customers". She says " not if your not going to buy another". I say " you don't know if I am or not". She says " I'm allowed to buy tickets". WAKE THE HELL UP MANAGEMENT.. the help should not be allowed to gamble while on the clock. And really... bartenders waiting to sell so many losing ticke... read more
