Great place for people experiencing mental health and or addiction issues. I went through this program and successfully completed it in 2012. If it wasn’t for the support staff at house 1,3,4 and 5 I would not have the skills to semi independently live in my own apartment. It is thanks to the supports at Seven Oaks Mental Health facility that I had the opportunity to learn peer support worker training and go on to help other people struggling with severe and persistent mental health issues overcome their own personal problem... read more
Drugging out your patients and keeping them confined to a room is NOT adequate mental health care. These people need actual help, and what my brother experienced here was not help at all. He's been terrified of returning back here and expressed so much fear to the idea that he broke down in tears when he had a minor slip up. If this was really a place of healing, then he wouldn't have come back the way he did. Shameful.
