The best thing about this group is that THEY CARE. From the moment you walk in the door, every person you encounter is there for you and it shows. I don't know if there is some special screening process for employees or if the caring attitude is a result of the realization that all their patients are cancer patients, but I am very appreciative of the care that I have received. After being referred here from my ENT 5 weeks ago, MD Anderson calls me the day before my appointment that they will not accept my insurance. Although they verified my insurance 5 weeks ago, they call me the day before my appointment to tell me. This is an absolute disgrace and embarrassment !!! Just unbelievable !!!
I tell people that this used to be a scary place, now it’s my safe place. I can’t say enough about every single person that works here - the doctors, nurses, staff. They are all kind, compassionate, wonderful. I have always felt that I get such personalized care and they truly care about me. I highly recommend MD Anderson in Jacksonville to anyone who receives a cancer diagnosis.

Wonderful caring staff! Today is treatment #22 Became a patient in Oct. 2018 for Stage 4 Incurable Breast cancer. Very blessed for my doctors & medicines! A Web page with information would be good for patients to be able to visit and see what's new/going on. Like classes, support groups, fundraisers, etc... We need more communication when infusions are running behind scheduled appointment times, more handicap parking spaces, signs that ask people not to wear heavy perfumes or body sprays in this facility.
