I and now my husband are patients there. The caring & hope are amazing.
Great while you are there, but NO help when you are home. They bring you in, give you chemo, and send you on your way thats it. Anything you need after the fact they will just send you to the ER. They need general care doctors on site to care for the cancer patients. The communication between MD Anderson and your regular doctor or the hospital is non existent.
The staff at the outpatient surgery center of Baptist MD Anderson Cancer center are exceptional! They made me feel as if I was their only patient. Would definitely go back there if the need arises!
