Dr. Kaufman takes the time needed to diagnose your problem and figures out a plan of action with you. I had been to other neurologists and they were unable to help me - Dr. Kaufman figured out the problem and explained everything.
I am nearing 82 years old and I have never before had a doctor who was so knowledgeable, informed and personable. Dr Kaufman had reviewed my medical history before my appointment, was very patient with my sometimes muddled questions and spent more time with me than any other doctor ever has. His office environment is exceptional, with soothing colors and provocative art work. He made me feel SEEN. He even shared a favorite poem with me!
My appointment was at 1:00 p.m. I was finally brought into an exam at 2:30 p.m. I was still sitting in the exam room at 3:30 p.m., and no one had come to see me or give me an update on when the doctor would see me. I finally just got up and left the building. People, besides this doctor, have lives.

Among the positive comments about Dr. Kaufman is that he spends the time to thoroughly listen in order to diagnose your condition. Out of the other side of their mouth, they complain he runs late. Duh. He runs late because he spends the necessary time with each patient to listen and learn. If you're in so much of a hurry, go to a "doc in a box", get your 5 minutes of on-time attention, a script, then spend years chasing your tail for relief. Dr. Seth Kaufman has been and is magnificent! I have searched for years for a neurologist who would take the time and have the interest in my particular situation. I have had two TBIs, one from a ladder accident, another from being rear-ended with such force that my head smacked the steering wheel which caused internal hemorrhaging.
