Recently I had Dr. Seth Capello perform surgery on me, I have to say he has great bed side manners and is very compassionate .At the completion of our first consultation with him he encouraged us to go and get other opinions. On April 5, 2023, Dr. Capello performed an operation (TURP) on my enlarged prostate. I have been a longtime patient and he worked with me over years before making my decision to have this procedure. I am grateful to him because for the first time in years I can empty my bladder fully. My PSA went from a 9.0 down to 0.9. Therefore, I highly recommend Dr. Capello to any man who is in need of a urologist for checkups and surgery when and if needed.
Drove from Schroon Lake to Saratoga for a 1:30 appt. Left at 12:30 as GPS said trip should take 45 mins. Got to Saratoga Exit 15 at 1:15. Proceeded to Van Dam St which took ~5 minutes then crept in bumper to bumper traffic through 3-4 traffic light and then construction which was down to one lane. We arrived at office at 1:40 and attempted to do self check in on kiosk which would not allow us to check in so we proceeded to window. Dr Capello recently did robot assisted surgery on my husband. This dr is amazing! Takes time to explain every aspect of surgery and recovery. We’ve never felt rushed in an appointment. He responds super quick with any questions you may need answered. Compassionate, down to earth surgeon. Definitely recommend!
After seeing other Urologists and getting mixed information i set an appointment with Dr Capello. He listened to my situation, explained his thoughts , then offered to set up a series of tests to determine My exact needs. After my tests a clear plan was discussed with me. With my approval we proceeded and I’m happy to say all went very well. I very highly recommend DR Capello. He is kind, highly experienced and competent. He is appreciated by not only the vast majority of his patients but also his coworkers i spoke to.
Dr. Capello was thorough, patient and compassionate. He clearly explained my diagnosis and treatment options. He literally spent hours answering my questions and my wife's questions. He insisted that I get a second opinion regarding non surgical options.
Be sure to get a second opinion from a Dr. in a major city,not from a community hospital like Saratoga Springs
