Please do not use this company. They added insult to injury over a period of 6 months after a pipe burst in our home and flooded a good bit of it. They completely lost furniture. They completely ruined many items. They damaged furniture. They said they cleaned rugs (and charged us) for rugs that were clearly not cleaned. When they packed our stuff, they packed it wet!! I believe this is my worst business experience in 25 years in Mobile. When I was quoted a fixed figure of $1497.50 for cleaning my air conditioning ducts, I assumed Servpro was going to do a massive job taking many hours. Actually their man worked 3 3/4 hours which works out to be $ 400 per hour. This includes time spent painting which was not authorized and resulted in wall damage. We quoted Mr. ***** the stated amount for a duct cleaning based on the work to be performed and costs associated with the work. This pricing is competitive (and usually lower) than market pricing in the Mobile area. We explained to Mr. ***** in our initial call that this price was set regardless if the work took more or less time to perform (Mr. ***** inquired in the initial call if the price would go down if we finished the job quicker). ... read more
