After 20 years seizure free I experienced the start of a really bad seizure at home on 1/28/2016. I was rushed to the hospital where I didn't know what I was doing and having seizure after seizure. Dr. Loieza found I was having status epilepticus and tried every medication under the moon. Nothing worked I crawled out of the machine. I didn't know what I was doing. I went to Dr. Loaiza for years with a condition that has proved almost impossible to treat. (He is one of ELEVEN neurologists I have been to in the past 12 years.) He has an excellent bedside manner, and he never gave up on me. (I have literally had doctors tell me, "I don't know what to do with you.") I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a neurologist.
