The one star is for the lovely and helpful receptionist and hygienists that I have interacted with during my time at this practice. However, I am very disappointed with my most recent visits with Dr. Serfas. In March, I had a cleaning and exam, I was concerned about some recession and I had an old filling that needed to be addressed again. Dr. Serfas is a great dentist and well attended to my dental needs for 3 decades. My teeth are pretty good, but issues that came up were addressed promptly and with efficiency, kindness and professionalism.
Overall I wouldn't recommend Dr. Serfas. After noticing I had some issues regarding my gums I switched practices, only to find out that mu gums receded so badly I needed thousands of dollars of dental work. Needless to say this could have 100% been detected and prevented.
Can a dental procedure be a lovely experience? Well astonishingly, yes it can. Dr Serfas and his incredibly patient and kind team made my dental work actually an enjoyable experience. Fixed everything quickly and perfectly.
