Strange place. Always messing with the mailbox lid (some secret code?) and has doors locked while your inside. Creepy. Even when you arrive the doors are always locked during business hours. Open sign turns on and off at various times of the day. Has heavily covered black windows. Also has a peep hole so Mac can see who it is before he opens door. Advertises that they will work with you on medication. Drugs??? What is REALLY happening here??

If there was an option for "awful-horrible" I would rate it that. I went in for my massage today (the one I had to call Wimgo to have them call him to make him call me back after I left three messages). I should have taken that as a hint and decided to just have them refund my money. So here is my experience. I go in for my massage, it is at least 80 degrees with no ventilation and a dirty lobby. I had the same experience as lilazgirl and another girl who posted on down. The guy's privates were rubbing my hand the whole time which I kept trying to non-chalantly move away. He massaged around my underwear too close for comfort. The sheets smelled like cat pee. I felt so uncomfortable that I left the appt an HOUR early. The whole thing felt very unprofessional and now that I've read other reviews about his junk being an issue I don't feel so crazy about thinking that at my appt. totally creeped out.

I would not recommend anybody to ever go here! I've had dozens of massages across the metro in the past and this place was totally different from what I've ever experienced. When you walk through the door, the first thing you smell is cigarettes. My massage therapist Mac (owner of the spa) was at the front desk to greet me. He didn't have me fill out any paperwork whatsoever which I thought strange because usually they have you fill something out to see what areas you're sore and any health conditions. Don't bother with this place. I bought a livingsocial voucher for one massage, and have never been able to get in contact with them to make an appointment. Over a dozen calls and voicemails, and several emails as well. In addition, I spoke to livingsocial and they said they could not issue me a refund (outside of refund period) and that they had no way of contacting Serenity themselves. Don't bother!! You will need two messages just to get over the frustrations of trying to get in touch with this facility. I have tried calling this establishement several times only to get an answering machine. I have left several messages and still I haven't received a call back. I bought a voucher off of LivingSocial but will do my research next time before purchasing. I have asked for a refund. One star is generous in my opion.

My experience with Serenity Massage has been fantastic! I had a wonder massage and wrap. I even bought there dvd and have watched it a few times. Now I just need test out my new skills!
