I found Serenity after researching every place in the area on the internet and reading the Medicare grades and reviews. They were with me father two separate times and the first time was for several months until he no longer qualified to hospice. I know that isn't how it's supposed to work but the care they gave him was truly amazing. I feel like the nurses and CNAs helped him at a level beyond the mere physical. My parents have been inseparable since teenagers and I'm so thankful my mom was able to have more of him before h... read more

Nurses are incompetent & not caring. They dropped the ball on my husband’s brain donation. When the nurse left, she told me everything was prepared and would be done properly because we had a plan in place the donation center was supposed to be notified within an hour of his passing and yet she did not call or fax the paperwork till the next morning. That put him out of the window for the donation however, luckily my funeral home called at 3 AM to notify them and they made an exception and took his brain. That wouldn’t have ... read more

This place was beautiful and all the people were very nice and respectful. There was a private patio and we were given food to feed the birds which my dad loved. They have a kitchen, a prayer room and a place to relax and read or watch TV. All the ladies that I spoke to were respectful of my father. They made his last days very peaceful and I am so thankful.

Terrible experience. I thought hospice was supposed to be supportive, loving, knowledgeable, helpful etc.. it was nothing like that. I never spoke to or heard form a Dr. or a NP, the nurses were switched on me, they barely said anything or were prepared when they came. The final 2 hours I was left alone by a random nurse who I didn’t know and left me alone with my mom when she was struggling to breathe. The nurse at the assisted living facility helped me and my mom finally died peacefully. It was traumatic. Never again will ... read more

When Our daughter was referred for hospice care they refused to help due to her level of care being too high knowing they were the ONLY hospice provider in our area. Shame on serenity for turning their backs on a child and leaving parents to care for a terminally ill child suffering from a terminal brain disease with no help or solution. This should be illegal to deny care. They want easy money and don't care if they leave you on deaths door alone literally.
