Charged me a copay when I have a coinsurance plan. I called billing to discuss and the agent apologized for the error. She asked that they hold onto the copayment I was charged until insurance communicates what they’ll cover. I said I’d like a refund and to pay whatever bill comes back once insurance is ran properly. I showed on time for my first appt today, and the stern receptionist informed me I had not met HER deadline for filling out "my additional "paperwork, so she had canceled my appointment early this morning. I explained I had filled out their website, but her link to fill out additional paperwork had never arrived; I had even double-checked only an hour prior.
